Volunteer Firefighter and Family lost their home Boxing Day.

As fellow brigade members, we wish to support this wonderful, selfless family, by helping them with the boost they need to start over.

Canterbury

Jessie, a Volunteer Firefighter of 9 years service to Leeston Fire Brigade, and his beautiful family, sadly lost their home to a fire on Boxing Day.

The most important part is they are all safe and well, but have sadly lost all but the clothes they stand in.

Their home insurance will help rebuild what has been lost in time, but sadly that does not resolve the present.

If you wish to show your support to an incredibly deserving family, one who puts everyone before themselves, then please do. Your support will be most appreciated.

Funds raised will be utalised to provide some level of comfort during this difficult time. Whether that be on groceries, rent, basic living essentials, clothes, toiletries, anything that can help them reestablish to some form of normality.
