    It's been an extraordinary year for Waiau in so many ways.

    THANK YOU ! To all those that have helped and supported us along the way.

    The donations and support we have received from so many individuals and businesses has been humbling, amazing and so appreciated.

    The current balance is just over $330,000.

    Good things take time but our local team of volunteers are still working hard on the pool rebuild project and we hope we can bring you positive news and progress in 2018.

    Hello

    Our auction on Trade Me went well with $17,000 raised. New items were donated during the auction so they are still available for bidding on. They include a signed Joseph Parker glove, VIP hosting by the Mad Butcher at a home Warriors game and Air NZ flights. Check them out at Trade.Me/rebuildthepool

    This week see's us right back in full swing with fundraising for the pool. We currently sit at $112,000 so we have done very well.

    Our next big project is a Trade Me auction where we hope to raise $100,000.

  • $100,000!

    We past a significant milestone on Friday when we past the 100k mark with a very significant donation from the Swaminarayan Temple in Papatoetoe for which we are truly grateful.

    This takes us to 20% of the total we need.

    We are very humbled by the share number of businesses, clubs and schools that took part in the mufti day fundraiser. There were well over a 100 in total which means thousands of people have helped the cause.

    Please remember to share the Facebook page with as many people as possible as we have a long way to go and the more people that hear about our quest for Waiau, the better.

    The campaign is going well with nearly $35,000 raised towards our target for $500,000.

    This is a big week with the mufti day campaign in full swing. We are truly delighted by the messages of support for it we are getting from all over the country.
