WE'VE GOT THE FUND RUNS Nigel Neame runs for Waihi College Girls Basketball Aims Games Team 2021
Waikato
Kia ora whānau,
WE'VE GOT THE FUND RUNS
One of our basketball girls dad was looking for an excuse to run laps around the Waihi Pit. Given we are on a mission to fundraise over $8000 for our girls we thought this could be an opportunity for us both to achieve our goals. If by some miracle we raise over $1000 Nigel Neame will complete around 26 laps of the pit, our girls will try their best to run a lap or 2 as well.
No matter how big or small the sponsorship we will appreciate every dollar given to help get our girls to the week long Tournament in Tauranga with well over 350 schools in New Zealand who are attending.
The sponsorship will go a little something like this:
They've pimped out my dad.. Not just any of our dads, Reese's dad!!
The more you sponsor the more he runs!!
$0.50 cents is really great but he might only run to the neighbors gate.
$20.00 now that's a bit more maybe he will run to Lake Gilmore.
$100 wow that went up quick now were quite sure he would run the pit.
$300 or in-between if you double up now you would be seen (on our hoodies)
We're now at $600 and thats really slick! Nigel be running more then quadruple the pit.
$1000 and up now that's where we stop. Will Nigel run 100ks on the clock??
Thank you so much for your time and sponsorship we appreciate your support.
I'm Jess, mother of Palace who plays in the girls basketball team. One of many dedicated & determined parent helpers.
We will use the funds raised to help cover entry fees, accommodation, transport hire, food for a week, team hoodies & any extra funds will be used for team activities such as; swimming, dinner, ten pin bowling & movies.
Fund Run Success 1 August 2021
Thank you everyone for your donations to help our girls get to the Anchor Aims Games we appreciate all your support and generosity.
The Fund Run yesterday was a huge success. Nigel and several of the run Waihi members, basketball girls & parents ran, jogged and walked the pit rim.
Nigel had huge support since beginning at 4am yesterday morning, never running a lap on his own. Completing the 26 laps - 100ks at around 5:00 pm in 13 hours. Lisa (Nigels wife) was there at the check in station ensuring Nigel had good hydration, electrolytes and nutrition throughout the day.
We cannot thank you enough Nigel for your dedication & commitment to run for funds for all of our girls. You are amazing!!
