Waitakere Primary school is asking for donations to purchase and install the final two pieces of equipment for our senior playground.
Auckland
Waitakere Primary School has been planning and fundraising for our new senior playground for the past 3-4 years, it has progressed from a dream to a reality over the past 18 months with support from the Trusts Foundation, PTA, BOT, parents, teachers and students. We have completed our first stage which included earthworks and the first part of the new playground. The new playground is great fun and an amazing asset to our school and community.
We are now fundraising for the last two pieces of equipment which include a 7 metre climbing frame. The cost of these two pieces of equipment is $55,567 including installation. We have raised $25,000 so far.
This give a little page is to encourage our wider school community to donate to help us finish this wonderful playground.
Waitakere Primary School has approx 500 students and is on the outskirts of Auckland in the rural township of Waitakere.
To purchase and install the final two pieces of equipment for our senior playground.
Less than $5000 to go 31 August 2018
Thank you so much to those who have donated, our wonderful PTA has pledged $10,000 towards the climbing net so together with the $20,000 from the Trusts foundation as well as the fundraising from the Entertainment books, Product day that the children held at the end of last term and the give a little page, we have less than $5000 to go until we can order the climbing net,
