A Guided walk through the Red Zone from Avebury House, in memory of or support for someone living with dementia. Free to all to register.

Get behind our Walk for Dementia by registering to participate and encouraging friends, colleagues and family to sponsor you here.The guided walk will take us through the Red Zone from Avebury House, and a celebration will be held on the lawn, with entertainment and refreshments available. A fun afternoon for all the family, getting our community back in to the newly regenerated East- Otakaro Avon River Corridor and enabling Cantabrians to make a difference to those living with dementia.

About us

Living well with dementia : Dementia Canterbury provides valuable specialised support services such as social work, community cafes, therapeutic activity groups incl art appreciation, book discussion, swimming, gardening, baking, memory groups and carer support groups to enable people to live well with dementia as part of the community.

Use of funds

The continuation of delivery of our exemplary services free to those with a diagnosis of dementia and their care partners and family/whanau, is heavily reliant on our fundraising efforts, and the generosity of our community.
