Let us tell you a little bit more about our team and the NZ junior rugby festival.
Our team have been together for the better part of the last 6 years, with a few teammates joining in recent years.
The calibre and skill set of our young players is huge. Their passion to be on the field with the drive for success is second to none, representing the club and sponsors with pride whilst following in the footsteps of those that inspire them.
And this is just the beginning!
Our Wanderers Under 13 team has officially been accepted to participate in the NZ Junior Rugby Festival in The beautiful city of Queenstown in September.
“The purpose of the Nz Junior rugby festival is to give all junior rugby players the opportunity to participate against clubs from around the country and the world, on a foundation of sportsmanship, enjoyment and friendship; all the while creating lifelong memories with their mates on tour” - NZJRF
Use of funds
The money will be used to transport the players from the top of the south to Queenstown and back. It will also be used to cover transfers, meals for the team and accommodation while at the tournament.
