We're doing a 48 hour running challenge to raise funds to help the people of Ukraine.
Canterbury
With family living in Ukraine and knowing that millions of people are going to be affected in the short and long term by the Russian invasion, I'm on a mission to help out in any small way I can. On 11th -13 March, a group of friends and I are doing a running challenge in Christchurch where we will run 6.44km every 4 hours for 48 hours (totalling over 84 km) and we're going to use the opportunity to raise money to donate to CARE - the Ukraine Crisis Fund. CARE provide immediate aid, water, hygiene kits, food and cash; prioritising helping out women who have been left by their partners as the men get drafted to defend Ukraine's freedom.
If you're in a position to give, anything you can spare would be very much appreciated.
CARE is a trusted charity around the world and with family based in Ukraine, I feel the urge to help in any little way I can.
