whanau need your help urgently

Our whanau needs your aroha and a couple of minutes of your time.

Our beautiful Lorisse has stage 4 advanced rectal carcinoma which has spread to her lungs and liver & lympnodes and it's a race against time.

She was diagnosed in September 2022, she has completed 13 cycles of FOLFOXIRI + 11 cycles cetuximab also maintance treatments totalling almost 50 rounds of chemo.

We have just received the news from the medical team at the Rotorua hospital that the government funded treatments are no longer working and there is nothing more they can do for her

Our whanau’s plan is to urgently seek alternative treatment, which is our only choice now. Alternative private treatments are not government funded and are very costly. And we are struggling to come up with the funds in a short amount of time.

We could really use your help to pay for Lorisse's alternative treatments that will hopefully prove science wrong and cure it or buy us some more time.

She has also put her business on the market to try and help fund the treatments but it has proven difficult tasks to sell.

Not everyone will be able to help and that's okay. We know right now how hard it is just to get by, especially with the high cost of living, so we understand if you don't have the means to send a koha our way and we appreciate and thank you all for your generosity big or small or even if you have made it this far into the post.
