A New Zealander wanting to help out other New Zealanders during a stressful time.
Auckland
A whānau of nine who lost their family home of 28 years in a devastating fire are camping outside and sleeping in vans because of a lack of emergency accommodation in Tairāwhiti.
The Te Kira family homestead in Muriwai, south of Gisborne, was destroyed in a large blaze on September 28, leaving the family without a roof over their heads.
It would be great if we could donate funds to the family so that they can rebuild their lives.
The family did have insurance however when the fire happened the insurance had lapsed.
I have no relationship to this family however I read an article through NZ Herald and felt that this family needed a helping hand in time of need.
