We look to improve delivery of our services to the community, enabling us to respond more efficiently to calls across all terrains .
Whangarei, Northland
The Whangarei Heads Volunteer Fire Brigade is a dedicated first response medical responder brigade. We are trained to be first responders to medical events.
We are fundraising so we can purchase a dedicated community First Response Medical and General Fire Support 4x4 utility vehicle and so we can extend our fire station to house it.
The ute is in addition to the fire truck, fire station, equipment and gear Fire and Emergency New Zealand provides us as a volunteer brigade. It will help us respond efficiently to the community across all terrains.
We have started this page so our generous community members and other Kiwis can easily donate to this great project, We are also fundraising outside of Givealittle and are seeking additional funding so we can make this happen! So even if we don't meet the goal on Givealittle it will still go towards the much needed vehicle and extension.
