Whangārei teen shoved off Onerahi wharf by men who tossed puppy into harbour

Yesterday there was story about my son being pushed into to water in Onerahi. Since then we have been inundated with messages of support and generous people wishing to give my son money to replace his phone and the money stolen. After some discussion we have decided the best thing to do is to start a give a little page for people to donate money. Any funds raised over the cost of a new phone will be donated to local animal rescue charities Donna Doolittle's Animal Rescue and Ruakaka Dog Rescue. We are just overwhelmed by the kindness and support of this amazing community. Thank you so much.
