Helping to give Kathryn the support that she needs.

Amberley, Canterbury

Early hours of valentine's morning, Kathryn was picking her partner up from work in Taupo, due to cyclone Gabriel a big pine tree fell on the car trapping her and leaving her lucky to be alive.

She was initially transferred from Taupo hospital to Waikato hospital, then from Waikato to Middlemore hospital for spinal surgery.

Surgery went well but will be a long road to recovery.

Anyone who knows Kathryn loves her for the kind and caring soul that she has, she will always help anyone at anytime. She has always been a homebody in Amberley where she has lived all her life. only recently moved to Taupo in the last 8 months.

Being a homebody girl she needs her mum with her in Auckland though. And her partner Khalid to be able to visit.

Any help towards her recovery would be greatly appreciated, we all know she deserves it.

The family would love to thank everyone for their kind calls, message and all the support.
