2023 World half marathon championships

Hey team, for those who take the time to read this thanks heaps I’ve been selected to represent NZ at world half marathon championships in October in Latvia

Unfortunately in NZ, there is no funding for any of the athletes who earn selection. Initially I decided that I wouldn't go, given my current financial situation. Untill alot of smart people around telling me that i would be silly turn down a opportunity

I'm currently brainstorming ideas to fund raise, only have approx 7 weeks to work with.

Any money raised will help with the estimated total trip cost of $6500. This will cover Flights, internal travel & accommodation and yes even our team NZ kit.

Hey guys Just want to give a quick update. A massive thank you to everyone to helped supported me the generosity has been unreal and without it this trip would not be possible. I head off next Tuesday and race day is 1st October. If you would like to follow my journey you can follow me on facebook or Instagram just type my name.
