Help take Wānanga Takiwātanga to communities across Aotearoa, sharing autistic lived experience and creating understanding.
Auckland
Wānanga Takiwātanga is a community-led initiative sharing autistic lived experience across Aotearoa.
Tamara Grant travels to communities to speak openly about autism, neurodiversity, and the realities many whānau experience but rarely hear talked about. Through kōrero and connection, these wānanga help people better understand autistic minds and create stronger support for autistic children, adults, and families.
Many communities want this kōrero, but travel, venues, and resources make it difficult to reach everyone.
This fundraiser will help take Wānanga Takiwātanga across the country so more communities can access lived experience knowledge and support.
Your contribution will help cover:
• Travel between communities
• Hosting community wānanga
• Resources for families and support networks
• Expanding this kaupapa to reach more people
If you believe lived experience should be heard and communities deserve better understanding of autism, your support can help make this possible.
Together we can bring Wānanga Takiwātanga to communities across Aotearoa.
