Developing Men Of Valour Tour 2018

    Kia ora Whānau,

    Just wanted to send a massive THANK YOU to you all for each and every koha (donation) we have received... Also wanting to thank those who have supported our young men with merchandise purchases, helped us pick up rubbish at McLean Park, worked the long nights stocktaking at The Warehouse, The multiple sausage sizzles, hangi fundraisers and the amazing opportunities for them to earn their funds with Mr Apple, Bostock & Crasborn!

    All of which have added immeasurable value to their kete (basket) of learning and developing their character!!!

    Our plane tickets are booked and we are ready to leave on the 2nd of December!

    To date we have raised $120k and still need to raise a further $30k before the 30th November 2018.

    Kia ora Whānau,

    Our taiohi have been working hard, taking every opportunity to fundraise, earn as they learn and share their journey with our communities.

    They were scheduled to fly out this Sunday, October 14th, however after a whānau meeting and group vote, we have decided to push our travels out to the 29th November this year, in order to raise the remaining funds we need.

    We want to thank each and every person and whānau, for their koha's, support, opportunities for work and aroha we have received to date... It's humbling and we are very grateful!

  • The Fundraising Continues

    Kia ora Whānau,

    Just wanted to share a little update. We are so overwhelmed by the amazing support we have received in fundraising for our Developing Men of Valour Tour.

    Our boys are still working hard to reach our goal but wanted to let you know how grateful we are for your koha and words of encouragement to help us get there...

    Our plans still remain the same, and we intend to visit Europe mid-October 2018, and follow the historic journey of Maori Battalion from WW2.

  • Extending our fundraiser

    Kia ora Whānau,

    Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Developing Men of Valour Tour (DMOV18 Tour) so far, it's been an awesome encourager and motivator for our students to continue working hard to achieve their dream.

    We are extending the closing date so we can continue fundraising for our travels to Europe.
