Yahel died suddenly and with no explanation. She was a kind, generous and wise young woman & we are trying to help with funeral costs.

Yahel Neuman was 22 and at university when she died suddenly and unexpectedly on 1st August. Yahel was a generous and loving young woman and was always looking to help others.

We are now looking to pay her gifts forward by raising money to help her parents with the funeral costs.

Yahel died in Wellington and so was brought home to Nelson for burial costing twice what would normally be paid.

Tami, Issac, Lynne and I have been away the better part of the last four months. When we heard this news we were frozen, with fear, with horror, with disbelief, by trying to put ourselves i your position, which is all too easy to do. There isn't a word to say that would do any good. We all can only bathe you in love, and keep you company, and not forget how long you will be in pain. I think of my friend Emily who lost her husband and two daughters in the Haiti earthquake. No one could imagine how she'd make it through. But she did, and now she is remarried, with a beautiful little boy, and of course the third daughter, who miraculously survived the disaster. Disasters can be survived. Only those who go through them though can know the endurance it takes. Great, big huge love from us. Lynne, Oliver and Jeff Kohen
