Hi everyone, my name is Yanxi Liu and I’m 16 years old. I’ve been selected for an incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand at the prestigious Badminton World Junior Championships held in Cairo, Egypt. I feel very grateful and honoured to have the opportunity to represent NZ on the world stage. 🏸🇪🇬
However, this opportunity comes with difficulties especially in terms of funding. Badminton is completely self-funded in New Zealand and the current cost for this event is already at $6.5k (without accounting for any flexible costs added)
Therefore, I would be extremely grateful & appreciative of your support, and will give my absolute best at the World Junior Championships!
