Brothers Battling Cancer Together - Which Sadly Claimed Their Sisters Life.

$17,275 donated
Given by 431 generous donors in one year

Marcus & Hamiora thank you for taking the time to read their article, and your kind donations ❤️

Waikato

Marcus (23) father of 3, and Hamiora (26) father of 2, are both battling different forms of Cancer. Both have suffered a hard life from a young age, and need all the help they can get to ease the ongoing pain.

In 2000, at the age of 3 & 5, they buried their Mother (25) who passed away from domestic violence. 2003, they buried their younger brother Ryan (6) who died in a car crash. 2015 brought more grief as they buried their beautiful older sister Horowai (25), who battled gastric cancer for 2months then sadly passed away.

Now in 2018, the only surviving siblings left, Marcus who is battling Cena Carcinoma Cancer requires surgery to remove his stomach & his older brother Hamiora is battling Lymphoma Cancer, which has formed a large Tumor in his side which is quite aggressive.

We need your help financially to help aid not only their treatment, but to offset the financial strain on their family. Both are going through chemotherapy in Hamilton. Although Hamiora lives in Hamilton, Marcus lives in Auckland but travels to Hamilton weekly with his partner and 2 young babies to be by his brothers side to have treatment together.

Every dollar donated is appreciated, and will be one less thing for our nephews to worry about. Thank you from their Taylor & Waenga Whanau xx

These 2 young men are our nephews who have suffered through enough. We need to support them any way possible. The elected account holder Melanie Gregoire is also the boys Aunty/financial adviser who will manage all funds raised alongside selected family members.

Use of funds

All funds will be split between different forms of treatment, travel costs to/from hospital, also to offset their current outstanding bills that are piling up. A set amount will be set aside for worst case scenario (which we won't need God willing).

Marcus & Hami  7 September 2018

Kiaora everyone. Thanks so much for your kind donations. The boys and our wider Whanau are so blessed to have you all send your thoughts and messages. Marcus has another Dr's appointment next Tuesday to discuss the next process with him and his surgery options. Hami has started a more advanced chemo treatment today which will span over 24hrs today, and then it will slowly drop down by a few hours every day. His tumour has shown signs of regressing which is awesome, so we're all keeping positive that the treatment will keep working. Thank you, and God Bless everyone x
