Family of 5 lose everything in West Auckland floods

Posting on behalf of a loving beautiful and giving family of 5 that were left devastated and heart broken after the flooding that occurred in the West Auckland region causing my sisters (Da’shaun Walding) family to be left homeless with only the clothing on their backs, with thanks to the grace of all gods a lucky escape with their lives.

The home she resided at is no longer inhabitable with little to nothing savalgable. she is currently couch surfing with our whanau who already are housing others in need prior.

I have taken it upon myself to start this give a little page to help lighten the load due to the catastrophic and detrimental impact that they have suffered and are continuing to endure”(All within a matter of minutes this beautiful family’s lives was thrown into turmoil.

Our Hearts go out to all those who have been affected and sending our deepest condolences to the many families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic event..

Also I would l like to give recognition and the upmost respect and honour to our first responders,firefighters,rescue teams,and heroic voluntary individuals who bravely participated in the evacuation of the local surrounding communities.

We would be immensely grateful for any support/donations received for her and her whanau.

We understand theses are hard times for many, even sharing this post to get the word out, may help our sister so her and her whanau can start the process of rebuilding their lives “again “
