Young Mum's battle against stage 4 colon cancer
Fighting a battle that requires us to capture moments and preserve precious memories

On the 20th of March 2025 our family received the most devastating news, Our little sister Briar at the age of 23 has been diagnosed with incurable stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasised to her lymphnodes liver and lungs her prognosis does not look good, this comes only a few months after our mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Briar also has a 2 year old daughter Elsie, who is going to need immense support, Mummy is Elsies entire world. As we face this terrible battle together as a family, we would like to help ease the financial burdens ahead and allow Briar to create memories with her wee girl in the limited time that she has left

On the 10th of April 2026 after an excruciating battle that was endured with such grace Briar passed away at Invercargill Hospice surrounded by loved ones..our hearts are broken 💔 our family would like to give the deepest thanks to every single person for the the love, support and kindness that we have recieved on this journey.
