Wellington

Hi guys, its been a rough year. a few ups but to be frank plenty of downs.

I thought having to move was going to be the icing on the case. however while iv been sourcing a more permanent storage facility I had placed a garage full of items in a friends garage for the meantime. On the sunday I had planed to move these items into the storage container I had acquired on the Friday.

well... the sunday was a bit wet. infact so wet that this garage I was about to empty into a nice dry, safe, mud free container... was waste deep in floodwater.

Now, im not usually someone to ask for handouts. so if its taking food of your table i dont want it. but I have spent the last 2 years donating my time and money to helping the community by way of my experience and ability in security.

I would have easily given away over a 100 hours of onsite consultancy and installations, over $4,000 in hardware and 1,000s and 1000s of hours in running the "Hutt Valley Security Noticeboard" (Facebook group) not to mention countless nights and weekends recovering and reviewing cctv footage and providing it to the police on behalf on members of the community.

I even paid from what little money I had to get my Private investigators licence just to be able to provide the community more confidence in the free service I have been providing.

there are now over 7000 members in the group and rising daily. I have personally reviewed every profile and ensured to the best of my ability that these members have the best interests of the community at heart. we as a group have assisted in numerous arrests over this time.

as you may tell im quite proud of our little security network.

Unfortunately though Iv never been one to consider my own personal wellbeing when helping others out. and now that I have to move iv made no consideration for paying a new bond, the additional cost of rent, and... then there is the bummer that all my household stuff was in that garage. I did save my drop saw and my press drill which were on top over everything else. so not all was lost.

Money raised will go towards helping me get back on track with moving and replacing some stuff. and hopefully help offset some of the personal expenses such as:

I promise I will continue to do the best I can to help our community. lets be honest I would be bored otherwise. this keeps my life interesting.

Use of funds

a few personal expenses, anything more will go towards building my small Computer Repair and CCTV company "streamline IT ltd" to be able to better service the community.
