    Update

DBS is coming to an end next week! There has been many tears about this, but I am really looking forward to seeing what is next for me.

We have nearly read through the whole bible and our last week we will be going through the books of John! It has been really good to be able to read the New Testament with understanding of the Old Testament and Gods redemptive plan through this whole story!

    Personal revelation

Before coming to YWAM and during dts I thought and believed that God didn’t have anything good for me, BUT…

Coming to DBS, I really felt that this would be a time of seeing/ receiving Gods goodness. I had all these big ideas on what it could be. In the waiting I have been so focused on “THE BIG THING”, that I’ve missed his goodness all around me in the small things! The goodness is the people around me, DBS, the lords peace, and most of all getting to know his character and nature! (And many other things) he has taught me that his goodness is in everything and in everyday! He works all things for good, even the hard things, or even when you can’t see how it could possibly be good.

    GOODNESS IS ALL AROUND ME!

Looking for his goodness in each day and each trouble has bought me so much hope and comfort.

I KNOW THAT HE IS GOOD

    HE IS GOOD TO ME

    Prayer requests:

    - to finish DBS well

    - To know what to do in this next season of life

    - To carry on walking in truth and learning about god after DBS.

Thank you for your support during this time, I can’t wait to catch up with everyone!

  • DBS UPDATE

Hey everyone! DBS has been amazing. From the first week I have learnt so much about Gods character, we are still currently in the Old Testament and are going into old prophets this coming week. I have loved seeing Gods kindness and mercy as we have read through the Old Testament, some of my favourite books so far have been Genesis, exodus, Hosea and Isaiah.

My awe of God and trust in him has grown so much over this time and I am so thankful to be here! The biggest personal thing I have learnt so far is that my feelings matter and are valid but I should never let them change who God is, his character always stays the same and he is never changing! He is kind, gracious, merciful and he is love!

One of the weeks we read through the Psalms and apart of our homework was to write our own, I thought I would share it:

Lord your faithful hand has been over my life, you have protected me and rescued me.

Though I have walked away you have pursued me and brought me back to you.

You have taught me true love, you are true love who I get to be in relationship with.

Your love is better, your love is healing, your love is restoring.

You are my father and you have taught me to be a daughter.

Lord you have made what was broken beautiful and pure. You see me as pure!

    Thank you lord!

I will continue to walk in remembrance of all you have done.

I will continue to praise you and thank you.

    You are a beautiful father.

Thank you all for your continued support, prayer and encouragement!
