Time to help Zahnee once again! Zahnee is an amazing young lady who was born with a deliberating facial vascular haemangioma tumour - both internal and external.

During her 16 years Zahnee has undergone a variety of surgeries and laser treatments totalling close to 30.

September 2011 she went to New York to meet with Dr Steele who performed an amazing surgery to reposition both her eyes. This surgery was not available in New Zealand at the time. Zahnee is in need to visit Dr Steele and other PHACES specialists in New York.

This could be once again life changing for Zahnee.

I have been a family friend to this family for over 20 years. Zahnee has always been known for her extra medical complexities and is very well known to Tauranga, Waikato and Starship Hospitals.

During our friendship I have watched Zahnee struggle and triumph and face so many medical challenges more than any child should have had to face in her 16 years. Surgery after surgery and recovery after recovery. It has been a privilege to watch Zahnee become a very bright, loving and intelligent teenager.

Zahnee may have many challenges, but this hasn’t stopped her from helping many others in her community. She supports numerous charities, and any other organisation she sees worthy - which in her view is ‘all of them.’ Even after her 12-hour spine surgery she was back into more fundraising projects.

After watching Zahnee help so many people over the years I feel now is our turn to help Zahnee again!
