Whilst Javon was recovering from a head injury and the family home was empty, they were burgled.
Waikato
11 year old Javon sustained a serious head injury in the school playground in December 2014. The family has had to support him in rehabilitation at the Wilson Centre in Auckland. This has meant that the family home in Waikato was unoccupied for long periods. On Monday the 9th of February, Zarna received a phone call from the police advising her that her home had been burgled. They took electronics, food, clothing, shoes, sports equipment - and anything else they could jam into the car.
The cost of Javon's rehabilitation will be ongoing, and this burglary has put further financial strain on a struggling family.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for the messages, donations and support. We are overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness.
We have now made the transition from the Wilson Centre to home. The Wilson Centre helped prepare us for the life changes to our family, sort out medications and structure a support network. Our lives have been touched forever by the families and staff we met there who helped us so very much x. Our new journey begins at home and there is a long road ahead, the path is unknown but we are so humbled and grateful to our family, friends, community, schools and even strangers for all the support generosity.
Forever grateful Zarna, Javon, Ezrah and Tayla xxxx
