Zeisha’s fight for her life.

On the 28th of June after finding a lump in her breast, Zeisha was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since being diagnosed Zeisha’s treatment plan has been fast & aggressive. Two weeks after being diagnosed she had a mastectomy on one breast & an implant inserted. She also had her lymph nodes removed from her armpits. Unfortunately Zeisha’s implant became infected which caused multiple complications causing delays with chemo treatment simply because Zeisha’s immune system was so weakened. However, despite all of this Zeisha has successfully completed 5 rounds of chemo, she still has a further 3 rounds of chemo, 21 rounds of radiotherapy and a long recovery road ahead of her. Every day is a fight. This has been and will continue to be Zeisha’s biggest fight of her life.

Thankfully Zeisha has health insurance, though not all of her treatments are covered, she thanks god everyday that she had organised full cover for herself before discovering the lump in her breast.

It’ll be at least a year before Zeish will be strong enough to DJ and earn an income again. Any donation big or small will mean so much to her and her Whanau.
