Zeus made a full recovery and enjoy life to the fullest. After the ordeal he definitely gets away with a lot more. Massive appreciation to everyone who helped him to get this second chance. we are forever grateful.

Zeus is home to start the recovery process. I want to express my gratitude to each and every person who supported us during this time.
When times are hard, support from people all over the world makes you realise how lucky we are to be alive.
The dr phoned us 20h00 last night with two options either surgery to see if there is something causing a blockage or euthanize, at this point we are sitting at around $7400. After many tears and prayers we decided not to do the surgery and euthanasia became a reality. We have sold anything with value but still could not get anywhere near the bill. We even tried selling Michelle's old wedding rings and a wedding ring she inherited from her grandmother. No luck as this type of sales can take time but we were desperate to save Zeus. After desperate pleads we agreed to continue with surgery as a last resort. The dr said surgery will cost around $3000 and then the after care on top.
This morning the surgery went ahead and the dr found half a rubber ball in his intestines. I got the good news and tears of joy ran down my face like never before.
Zeus is currently in recovery and hopefully he will be home tomorrow. I want to personally thank every single person helping us with a share or a donation.

Just spoke to the vet, she will run more test and x-rays as there is no obvious problem but it seems like multiple problems. Latest bill has just gone over $7100 in total. I am super concern at this point.
Zeus was admitted again on Monday 7th Feb in critical condition. The vet said he was in severe pain. More scans, blood test and X-rays were done. The X-rays were send off to a specialist for review. From my understanding he got infection in the intestines. The vet is awesome and I get regularly updates. He is still in hospital and will hopefully be out by Thursday of Friday. Unfortunately with all of this happing on a public holiday the cost is astronomical. The first hour come to $1580. I guess the remaining bill will be around $4500 but as soon as I know I will update.
