Zoe has the opportunity to go on the school trip of a lifetime - a trip to NASA to experience the life of an astronaut for a fortnight. Lots of learning, lots of fun..... lots of cost.
The cost of the trip is about $10,000 - it's one of those times as a parent that you look at your excited child and say "Of course you can go, this is an amazing opportunity!" and then quietly stress about how you'll make it happen. (you only need one kidney, right??) Zoe is working to pay some of the costs too but as a 14 year old who's up to her eyeballs in school work and sport, getting a full time job isn't really a viable option.
