  • About the Central Finance South Island Charity Cycle Ride

      20 October 2014

Wefre a group of 25 determined individuals who are training to compete in The Central Finance South Island Charity Ride. This epic challenge will see us cycle the length of the South Island to help raise more than $100,000 for the Taranaki Rural Support Trust. We will start this journey on Monday 9 February 2015 in Picton and plan to cycle 1125km down the West Coast, to Bluff. Although the terrain is tough, wefre hoping to complete this gruelling challenge in nine days. The Taranaki Rural Support Trust is a charitable organisation which provides support to individuals and families who are dealing with depression and suicide in the rural environment. Our goal is to make the public aware of the impact Depression and Suicide have on Family, Friends and Communities and wefre all very proud to be doing this for such a worthy cause. Each rider has to raise $1,500.00 to participate in this challenge and while we have many generous sponsors who have helped cover our costs, we still need help to reach our target goal of $100,000. To reach our goal, we need your help to make a donation. Every dollar counts and each and every contribution is appreciated. 100% of all funds raised are going directly to our Charity.
