Dementia Wellington (formerly Alzheimer's Wellington) is a non-profit organization that provides advice, support and education free to anyone diagnosed with dementia and their families, at every stage of the disease.

Right now, Dementia Wellington receives on average 100 referrals a month from the local community in Kāpiti, Porirua, Wellington and the Hutt Valley. However, they only receive approximately 44% of funding from local District Health Board contracts, the remainder from people like you, local groups, or from successful grant applications and trusts.

I am going to run 10km per day for the next 100 days in the hope of raising $10k for our newly adopted charity at the Home Loan shop.

This charity is close to our hearts and many of our staff are currently supporting family members living with dementia.
