From April 18 to April 24, eight of us will ride from Gisborne to Taranaki over 6 days to raise funds for the Westpac Chopper. Every pedal stroke brings us closer to helping provide life-saving helicopter rescues for Kiwis across New Zealand.

Westpac Chopper Bike Ride 2026

The Chopper Bike Ride is back for its 15th year – and we need your support to make it the biggest one yet.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
