◉ ABOUT THE AUNTIES ◉

The Aunties provides practical and emotional support to women who have experienced violent relationships. They provide intense direct support to a whānau of 27 women, as well as providing material needs for over 600 families every year. The Aunties believe that everyone has the right to live with self-determination, dignity, and knowledge of their mana. Your donation will help The Aunties to make Christmas special for the women and families in their care.

◉ ABOUT 10x10's 10 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ◉

Over 50,000 Kiwi kids won’t have the Christmas of their dreams this year. For families living in poverty, struggling in the wake of COVID-19, or rebuilding their lives from family violence, the festive season isn’t a time of joy.

Instead, parents face increased pressure and stress to just put food on the table, let alone have the capacity to budget for presents and make it a magical time for their children.

However, there are some wonderful charities working hard to make sure Christmas can be a special time for New Zealand families.

For the next 10 days, we’re inviting you to give the gift of giving by donating just $10 to Kindness Collective Foundation, I Got Your Back Pack and The Aunties. All three of these charities have pitched at a 10x10 event before so you may already be familiar with the important mahi they are doing in the community.

We’re running this campaign in November so these organisations will receive the funds in time for their Christmas activity in December. Please join us and help make this Christmas a time to remember for New Zealand families.
