18,000 Steps for Gaza - Updates

Kia ora koutou e te whānau.

Thank you to each and every one of you who donated to this important cause, or supported by taking the steps.

We blew past our goal of $18,000, raising a significant amount of aid to go towards essential services for the people of Gaza, who are still suffering immensely. The funds will be released to ReliefAid to distribute in one week. Please follow ReliefAid to see what your donations are going towards. Their work is still so badly needed.

With this money, my family, team of supporters and I, also send our prayers and wishes for peace to all of the families affected by this horrid war. Please. May the violence end. May peace be upon Gaza and its people. May the unnecessary suffering end, now.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your kind support of our little campaign. I'm humbled and thankful by the traction it got and the community it brought together.

Start time on Sundauy

Hi Folks!

A quick update to clarify the timing of Sunday's 18,000 Steps for Gaza event at Parrs Park.

There will be a briefing at 730am at the carpark by the playground. Then, first steps will be taken at 8:00am sharp. Please help us spread that word about this key piece of information -- which wasn't as clear as it should've been in original notices. The event will go ahead rain or shine -- so, dress appropriately!

Thank you to each and every donor who has supported this campaign so far. We're now over $10,000! This is a significant number and I'm blown away by the kindness and generosity in your hearts. THANK YOU.

But...We still have a long way to go to get to $18,000 --- our goal -- so, please...Spread the word.
