We need funds to provide a fun Christmas family day and a present for children who are unable to be with their parents at Christmas time.

We as Grandparents take on raising our grandchildren due to many reasons. Drugs, abuse, alcohol, abandonment, orphaned, mental issues, impoverished circumstances, unable to cope to name a few. GRG offer a raft of services and support to Grandparents and Whanau doing this job. Funds raised on this page will be used for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren in the Franklin area.

I am one of the two coordinators for The Franklin Area of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Trust NZ, the other Shirley Afoa. The trust is a non profit charitable trust that operates mainly on donations. Due to lack of funding this year we are trying to fundraise to be able to provide a Christmas party and presents for the relative children.
