21km for Deb & Steve

Kia ora, I’m Sophie and my cousin Sean, my Dad Mark and I are running the 2026 Auckland Half Marathon this November in memory of two very special people we lost to cancer. My aunty Debra (Sean’s mum and Mark’s sister) and my father in law Steve.

During their journeys, Harbour Hospice provided incredible care, compassion, and support to them and our families when we needed it most.

My aunty also created Menemene Helpers. A charity dedicated to helping children access dental care their families can’t afford. It meant so much to her, and we want to carry on what she started.

So, we’re taking on 21km to give back. Every donation, big or small, helps us support these two amazing causes and honour their memories. 🤍

Our goal is to raise $1,000 in total, with the funds split between Harbour Hospice and Menemene helpers.
