Normal people who challenge themselves every year to help the young people of New Zealand.

Papamoa Beach, Papamoa

For the past three years, our community comes together to do something crazy for an important cause, to raise funds for Gumboot Friday. Gumboot Friday is all about rising funds to provide free mental health support for young people in New Zealand.

In 2021 we paddle boarded the length of Lake Taupo, in 2022 we walked 51kms from Mount Maunganui to Papamoa returned along the beach in Gumboots and in 2023 we completed 538kms on gym machines for the 538 people who committed suicided in 2023.

Starting at 4pm on Friday 25th October (Labour Weekend) we are going to complete one 48 minute workout every four hours for 48 hours. We will need all the support we can get to try and complete the longest challenge so far.

With the help of our whanau and friends we have raised $20,000 so far from our previous events for this amazing charity. We don't intend to stop there.

We know times are tough out in our community at the moment so if you can help in anyway possible that would be amazing and every little bit helps to support the young people who are battling away with their mental health.

King regards

Jamie and the team.
