5K for Christchurch in London
I'm running a 5k race in London on the 25th of May for the people in Christchurch. I'm not much of a runner but I want to do my bit.
International
I'm a half Kiwi, dad from Auckland, living in the UK and it's been really hard watching what has happened in Christchurch unfold while living thousands of miles away. But the way New Zealanders have stood up and opened their arms to those affected by this atrocity has been truly inspirational.
The moment I heard what had happened and saw how strongly and positively New Zealand responded to such an awful event I knew I wanted to try doing my part. That's why I'm planning to run the 5K Bishop's park run on the 25th of May. I'm not really much of a runner, so I'm having to train myself to reach the goal and raise money in the mean time. If the least I can do to help is this run then I'm going to give it my all.

Due to poor calendar reading on my part, I’ll be doing my run on the 25th of May rather than the 26th. Time and location is staying the same
