    Together we raised $2740 for Parkinson's New Zealand. Thanks to the 36 generous people who donated to the cause. Thank you for helping Parkinson's NZ make the lives of people living with Parkinson's a bit better. They certainly helped Dad, and I'm sure Dad would be very grateful for the money raised to support Parkinson's. Miss ya Dad x

    Thanks too for supporting our Camino, it was the experience of a lifetime, we both learnt so much and gained so much from it. If you ever get an opportunity to walk a really long walk- go for it! Everyone needs a break from the everyday sometimes, a chance to reflect and grow. Never let those opportunities pass you by!

  • We did it!!

    We completed the Camino in 36 days on Tuesday the 21st of October, walking 40ks on our final day in the rain and dark to reach the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela at 8:30pm. What an experience! Dad and our aunty walked with us in spirit the entire journey, and so we dedicated our Compostelas to them at the end of the road. There were certainly challenges, I had to go to hospital and take a bus from Burgos to Leon due to infected blisters, but Nick biked that section for the both of us, despite his chin splints. We met many amazing people along the way and developed a strong spiritual connection with The Way of Santiago and the many pilgrims who had walked the path before us. The Camino will always provide and point you in the direction you need to go. You just have to trust it and follow the yellow arrow of your heart 💛 The Camino has finished but the Camino of life has only just begun. Buen Camino! X
