Raising money for two great causes through NZ's longest EVER continuous 11v11 Soccer game!
Auckland
The Sunrise2Sunset Soccerthon is a 14hrs 39 minute continuous 11-a-side soccer game running from Sunrise (5.56am) to Sunset (8.35pm) on December 14th at the QBE Stadium, Turf 3, Albany.
Who are we raising money for?
We are raising money for two amazing charities - Make a Wish NZ and Heart4Youth Trust.
Make a Wish aim to create life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. They impact around 200 wishes a year, but their vision is to grant the wish of every eligible child. From the moment a child starts planning a wish a wish, it gives them something wonderful to focus on which helps them find the strength to keep on fighting. It is the boost they need to look to the future and feel hopeful again.
The Heart4Youth Trust's mission is To accept, connect, equip and encourage youth & young adults through the integration of training processes and programs covering life skills/ values, self-awareness, self-esteem/ self-discipline principles and personal growth of all youth/young adults from any ethnicities - inclusive of youth at risk, those marginalised, underprivileged and those having special needs or disabilities in Aotearoa New Zealand”.
I can’t play the whole day – can I still be involved?
ABSOLUTELY! Even if you can only spare 30 minutes, as long as you're willing to help us fund raise and get yourself sponsored to take part in New Zealand's longest EVER soccer game then we'd love to have to have you!
