Te Atawhai will run 24 hours at Rātana Pā to honour his tupuna, both breast cancer survivors and raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ
Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui
Kia ora whānau,
My name is Te Atawhai Mason, and on 21–22 November 2025, I’ll be taking on a 24-hour run challenge at Rātana Pā, right in front of the Temepara.
This kaupapa is deeply personal to me both of my kuia were breast cancer survivors, and this is my way of honouring their memory and strength and raising awareness for others still on that journey.
I’ll be running for 24 hours straight to raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, helping support research, education, and care for those affected.
Every dollar counts, and every step I take is for our mums, our nannies, our aunties, our sisters and our whānau who’ve faced breast cancer with courage and aroha.
If you can, please donate or share this page to help me reach my goal.
Ngā mihi nui for your support.
