    Two Joyrides over labour break - battling into the wind to Pencarrow Heads lighthouse with Lynda, Jacob and Jade. Great tail wind back! Then the waterfront from central to Hataitai - such a good cycleway! Played several games games together at Willis Lane arcade. Playing and cycling for the amazing work of Joyya for young people in poverty to have many play and connection “firsts”. Awhi mai 🚴

    Early evening ride with Lynda. 11km loop probably only 500m on a main Rd. Chch is such a great place to ride. Loving the month of play and connection. Thanks for considering sponsoring to support giving kids in Kolkata the chance to connect through play.

  • Spot on with Peter and Lynley

    Biked down the road and dropped in on Peter and Lynley. Peter left the dishes to air dry and played a few games of "Spot It" with me. Lynley took the photo then joined us for game three.

  • First ride and game done

    Enjoyed a ride with Lynda, and a game of chess with one of grand nephews, Isaac. Eleven years old and he took great delight in a chess duel. Two games, one win each. These boys live in a very "green" rural space. Our Joyya focus is about bringing play and recreation to some of the world's poorest children. Follow the links to learn more.
