Drain change...
14 December 2015So we are off back up to the amazing team at Starship and Auckland hospitals tomorrow. Eric has a PTC or percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram. It is a drain that goes into the bile duct. Eric needs this replaced every six weeks. It's done under ultrasound at the main Auckland hospital by a very talented man!
Hopefully Eric will be able to get his grommets done at the same time, fingers crossed. He has had a 40% decrease in his hearing since the last time it was checked.
