TC Gita affected Samoa, Tonga and Fiji and is the worst storm to hit Tonga in 60 years. In the aftermath of TC Gita, over 100 homes were completely flattened and more than 1000 damaged in Tonga. Today there are still 1000's of people in evacuation centres throughout Tongatapu
The Maori and Pacific island employees of Air New Zealand ( Manu Network) are taking this opportunity to show their support by giving a little for the victims of TC Gita. We want to encourage our friends and colleagues from Air NZ to do the same and help our Pacific communities.
All funds raised will go to support the Red Cross - Pacific Disaster Fund.
