Altus is raising funds for the Red Cross Pacific Disaster Relief fund in response to Cyclone Gita.

Samoa and Tonga are in recovery mode after Cyclone Gita ravaged the island nations. Homes are destroyed, people are displaced from their homes, and Gita is still going. While our clients and customers are safe, the impacts of Gita are far reaching and will take months to recover from. With families, homes and businesses impacted, and Gita still on the move, we are running a fundraiser to support the Pacific Disaster Fund.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
