An Honour to Help

Hamilton Civic Choir, based in the Waikato, New Zealand. Their vision is to be an enduring and well recognised community choral organisation which provides high quality programmes that engage members, audiences and music communities. Every year the choir depends on donations, grants and the profits from concerts in order to help cover running and performance costs. This year the choir has had to cancel two major concerts, leaving a sizeable hole in the hearts of many members of both the choir and Waikato music community.

As the choir has been a central part of my musical education, and has provided so many opportunities for me - I wanted to organise something to give back. So alongside this planned online recital of material from my postponed Honours recital, as well as some popular classical/musical theatre hits - I would ask you to offer any koha you can to the organisation that has inspired and uplifted me, in lieu of buying any tickets upfront.
