15-year-old student ambassador raising funds for the construction of a spring-well, so 76 families can have access to fresh drinking water.
Sumner, Christchurch
Student ambassador for Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation NZ, Angus Sharpe has a huge heart to make a difference for others.
Pictured above is the site where 76 families living in a village close to where Fountain of Peace is working in Uganda, currently collect their water for drinking, cooking and cleaning. Angus is working extremely hard to raise the funds required for the construction of a spring-well at this site, so that these families will have access to clean, fresh drinking water.
The spring well will cost around $4,500 to build and in order to raise these funds, Angus has been making chocolates to sell and will be holding a movie fundraising night.
He would be so grateful for your support. Every dollar raised will get him one step closer to reaching his goal of bringing fresh water and fresh hope to these families in need.
