Mr Apple and Friends has put a team together to back this awesome event and its amazing cause!

Emergency First Responders are receiving more and more calls as a direct result of mental illnesses and are exposed to the suffering this causes.

The main organisations supported is the STAROS Affected by Suicide Support Trust which provides information and support for those who lost a loved one to suicide.

Their Purpose Statement highlights the toll this unbelievable grief takes on families and loved ones: "For us our lives will never be the same and the pain may never go away. As individuals we all grieve in our own way and in our own time but collectively maybe we can help each other to lessen the pain and help the fog to clear."

Our team of 11 will be sharing the total distance of 100km amongst a range of runners who came together to raise funds for this cause. The team consists of all ages (between 7 and 59 years) and abilities (ultra-runners, fast runners, slow runners, casual joggers, novices…) – we all decided to come together and donate our time and legs to support the event.

Please do get behind us to provide some extra encouragement and donate generously to support the event!
