Ashleigh's on a mission for the Mission

Working at the City Mission I see day in and day out the long term affects that the earthquake has had on peoples social and financial situations, housing and mental health. It is important to me that we can appropriately support these people both in Christchurch and Seddon.

'On a mission for the Mission' is a fundraising walk from Seddon to Christchurch happening between the 14th-22nd of February.

The purpose of this walk is to raise funds and awareness for people marginalised in our community who have been affected by the Christchurch and Seddon earthquakes, who struggle to get basic needs like food, shelter and warmth adequately met.
