I'm wanting to shave my hair to fundraise money for your family and also other families in a similar situation raising funds for a much needed assistance dog. Message: Hi. Have just read the plight of the Wheeler family in the Eastern Courier. I play in a local rock band based in Pakuranga. Sometime back we did a charity concert for the Christchurch Earthquake fund and raised $3,500.00 for Red Cross. We play a lot of Beatles and Rolling Stones music which goes down well. We would be happy to donate our band for a fund raiser. Last time, a local school donated their hall for the cause, entry tickets were around $15.00 which all went to the charity. People can bring their own drinks and nibbles etc. These are fun nights with lots of socialising and dancing. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss this opportunity further.
