Auckland to Bluff in an old car, raising funds for charity
We're heading to Bluff! We're participating in the 2025 Bangers to Bluff, which is an annual charity even organised by Half Moon Bay Rotary, raising funds and awareness for their charities, with the masthead charity being Multiple Sclerosis NZ.
We'll be taking an old car (a "banger") from Auckland on the 25th March, via the roads less travelled as we make our way over 12 days down to Bluff and Invercargill. The car will be auctioned off in Invercargill on the 5th of April with proceeds going to charity.

Roads Less Travelled 3 April 2025
Our banger, the small but mighty Mazdarati, is still going! Since Auckland the team have travelled some of NZ's most scenic roads through Taupo, Palmy, Wellington (with a special pit stop at the Beehive to meet Simeon Brown!), Motueka, Hamner, Akaroa, Oamaru en route to tonight's destination, Balclutha.
It's getting colder as they head south, but the energy and motivation to raise awareness and funds for Multiple sclerosis NZ and other Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay charities remains in peak form.
