Barefoot for a Future

$10,732 of $5,000 goal
Given by 96 generous donors in around 4 months

We're walking 100km barefoot! We're raising funds to purchase school shoes and sports shoes for children in both Aotearoa and Africa.

Nationwide

"Paeroa duo Vini Williams and Jack Keeys will walk over 100km in just five days, completing two of New Zealand’s Great Walks – Barefoot.”

We will be putting our fitness and our feet to the test to support young people whose education and opportunities are limited through something as simple as footwear.

100% of donations will go towards purchasing school shoes and sports shoes for children from low socio-economic backgrounds in both Aotearoa and Africa.

Our goal is to raise at least $5,000, but we'd love to hit an ambitious target of $15,000 worth of financial support and shoe sponsorship.

All shoes will be distributed through our Charity Partner – the Salvation Army (50% of funds to support shoe purchases in each of New Zealand and Africa)
